Patrick Henry's Pine Slash — Where Liberty's Voice Lived. Pine Slash, Patrick Henry's “Honeymoon Cottage” (circa 1750), reveals the personal side of America's most famous freedom advocate. Here Henry developed the principles that led to “Give me liberty, or give me death!” This five-acre site includes the original cottage, restored Prospect Hill manor house (circa 1830), and period carriage house — perfect for events where love and liberty unite.
